Intention and Attention

Intention is what we mean when we talk about H+. That deep confident desire to have someone experience hypnosis (H), coupled with a desire for them to gain a positive benefit from it (+).

Approaching hypnosis with the right intent, the desire to do something for someone, as opposed to wanting something from someone, will help you to quickly build trust and rapport, thereby leading to a pleasant and successful trance session for both you and your client.

Attention is that state of mind where you are here in the now, with your client. A form of self-trance that allows you to focus all of your attention on your clients needs and the goal of a positive outcome. This self-trance allows you to relax the conscious mind and "get out of your own way" such that what to say and do flows naturally and easily from your subconscious in a fluid stream of verbal and non-verbal communication.

When you work with your client, see them as someone you truly care the best for. Leave all the doubt, fear, and worry about whether you will "do things right" or "know what to say" in the past. Focus on the positive future that will inevitably come to past now that you are paying the right attention, with positive intention, to your client.

That's all I have for now.
